Viliv's upcoming P3 Prime portable music player has some people anxious for more details, mainly due to its lovely interface as well as an OS dual-boot feature.
When launched, users will be able to have their pick of either starting up the phone with Android 2.1 OS or Windows CE 6.0. And being a PMP, it can handle quite a few media file types, including MP3, FLAC and APE, plus 720p video playback.
The P3 Prime has a lot of people guessing given there isn't an English-language version of the site yet, but here's what seems to be definite:
- ARM Cortex 800MHz processor
- 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (480 x 800 resolution)
- 32GB of onboard storage
- microSDHC card slot
- microUSB connector
With that list, the P3 Prime is off to a decent start. Unfortunately, no word on pricing or a release date yet.
