Vodafone announces GPRS dates
The UK's Vodafone has announced that it will begin upgrading its GSM network to GPRS early next year.
The company said it would begin field trials of the network upgrade simultaneously in the UK, Greece and the Netherlands in January. The full commercial service is expected to be available by autumn next year.
Ericsson will be supplying the infrastructure for the network upgrade.
