Internet search advertising is set to overtake more banner advertising by 2010, as online sales double to $18.9 bln, up from $9.3 bln at the end of 2004, JupiterResearch said. Web search ads grow faster than 12% per annum over the next five years while banner displays should grow only around 7%. Classified Web advertising is expected to grow at nearly 10%, reaching $4.1 bln in 2010.
