Forgive us for bragging, but we've received yet another honor, hot on the heels of our triumphant Neal Award nomination -- and win! -- for our Health Monitor video series.

This morning, SmartPlanet was recognized by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences as a Webby Awards Official Honoree for our Robots@Work video series.

Almost 10,000 entries were submitted for the 16th Annual Webby Awards; 15 percent -- those which "exhibit remarkable achievement" -- receive an "Official Honoree" designation. (That's us!) We're in the Technology category for Online Film & Video, alongside work for Cisco, Corning, Sony, GE and Microsoft.

Congratulations to our video team for a job well done:

  • Sumi Das
  • Jason Pepper
  • Celso Bulgatti
  • Chris Tow
  • Matthew German
  • Fabricio Sousa
  • Marianne Wilman

We're pretty stoked, and we might just cut out of the office a little early today to celebrate. (Woohoo!)

In the meantime, you should watch our video for the best robots of 2011. After all, it's remarkable:
