It seems that the white iPhone 4 has been delayed yet again.
First it was delayed until July, then until the end of the year, and now it's delayed until next spring.
"We're sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again," Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller. She declined to explain the delay.
Apple has never said exactly why the white iPhone has been so troublesome to produce. The company has only said the white model was "more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected."
I gotta ask this - does anyone really care? Is there actually anyone out there who has the cash in hand and is holding back on a purchase because new iPhones only come in black? Given how few white iPhones I've seen (black seems to outsell white by more than 20:1 judging by the iPhones I see) I doubt that the market for a white iPhone 4 is pretty limited ...
... unless Apple is working on fixing that dodgy antenna problem ...
