Windows 7 Release Candidate release dates confirmed

Microsoft has confirmed the release dates for the Windows 7 Release Candidate (build 7100) which was leaked earlier in the week.

The dates were posted on the Windows Team Blog by Brandon LeBlanc:

I’m pleased to share that the RC is on track for April 30th for  download by MSDN and TechNet subscribers. Broader, public availability will begin on May 5th.

So there yo have it. If you have a TechNet or MSDN subscription then you will get access to the RC bits next Thursday, otherwise you'll have to wait until the following Tuesday.
