CEA is forecasting that overall holiday spending will increase 14% per average household (from $1,254 to $1,430) over 2004. CEA found that MP3 players topped 2005's wish list, displacing digital cameras at the top of the gift list. CEA said consumer interest in buying a portable MP3 player has increased 8% from 2004, from 20% to 28%. Revenues from sales of MP3 players are up 105% so far 2005.
