Y2K information site hit by Y2K bug

Ironically, site says pages updated in 1900
Written by Will Knight, Contributor

The Year 2000 Information Centre suffered the ultimate embarrassment shortly after New Year's Day when it accidentally informed the world that a number of its Web pages had been updated on 3 January, 1900, according to the Risks Digest.

The Year 2000 Information Centre is an online resource containing information and advice concerning all millennium bug related issues and problems. It has comprehensive legal and technological consultation information and features the latest updated information on millennium bug connected incidents.

The Risks Digest, a respected online computer security publication suggests that in a supremely ironic twist of fate, the Year 2000 Information Centre was itself the victim of the dreaded bug. The site now reassuringly shows that all pages were updated in the year 2000.
