Yahoo employee Twitters his layoff

Being laid off stinks. Amid all the announcements and clinical discussion about downsizing at Yahoo it's easy to forget there are real people losing jobs.

Here's a Twitter account of one Yahoo employee's walk of shame to the layoff zone, the laptop confiscation and other D-day happenings.

Some excerpts:

• This is a serious downer. Trying to drown it in free lattes. Which I will miss.
• Finishing meeting with HR. Need to go clear out desk now.
• Lots of whispered conversations. Like people are afraid to ask who's gone.
