Didn't get what you wanted for the holidays? Headed back to BestBuy to return that toaster you never wanted?  It's a great time to shop for electronics right now--you can get deep discounts from retailers who overstocked for Christmas and are looking to unload.  Check out these year-end deals on digital cameras and accessories:

Amazon.com is offering a free Kingston 4 GB SD memory card with the purchase of one of 27 select digital cameras, such as the Canon G10 or PowerShot SD990 IS, SD880 IS, and SX10 IS; and the Nikon Coolpix S610 and S60. Just add the camera and memory card to your shopping cart and Amazon will give you the card for free when you checkout. The offer only applies to cameras you buy directly from Amazon (as opposed to a third-party merchant listing on Amazon) and expires January 3, 2009.  Amazon is also offering instant rebates on select Canon dSLRs, lenses, and Speedlites, valid until January 17.

J&R is also running a big year-end sale, with great deals:  You can get a Nikon D90 (body-only) for $839.88 and free shipping or a Panasonic LX3 for $399.99 and free shipping.

BestBuy.com is offering a number of year-end savings deals such as an Innova 8-inch digital photo frame for $79.99 (down from $129.99) and a Canon PowerShot SD790IS for $179.99 good until January 3. Plus, all of their portable photo printers are on sale until January 3 as well.

And finally, if you're willing to go further afield with a lesser-known vendor, you can get amazing deals at US1Camera.com (aka US1photo.com). The company is having a huge After Christmas Sale with up to 50 percent off its entire inventory. There's an offer for a free MP4 player when you buy three accessories or more for over $150) that expires December 31, and I spotted the Canon EOS 50D (body only) selling for $912 and free shipping. Caveat emptor: I've never had any direct experience with this reseller. It does get decent reviews from epinions.com and from folks in DPreview forums, although recent reviews on ResellerRatings.com have been a little worse, overall lifetime reviews there are generally positive.
