Uh-oh. It looks like someone has leaked the details of the products being cut and merged over at Yahoo - and it appears that management there isn't all that happy about the leak.

At the center of the news is a screenshot that came from the webcast of an all-hands meeting for the Products group, which was led by Ross Levinsohn, EVP of Americas, and Chief Product Officer Blake Irving. That's them in the picture that was uploaded to yfrog and tweeted by former Yahoo Eric Marcoullier, who founded MyBlogLog and went to work for Yahoo when it acquired his company in 2007. He no longer works there, but clearly has some connections to a remote worker who did have access to the Webcast.

Hmmm. I wonder if this means future meetings with secret and confidential information - though the slide doesn't say it's confidential, from what I can tell - will not be broadcast over the Web.

Props to Liz Gannes over at All Things D for posting the details, including screen shots of a tweet to has the full scoop, including a screen grab of a tweet from Yahoo Chief Product Officer Blake Irving, who says that whoever leaked the Webcast is "gone!"

As for the details of the product cuts, those listed under the Sunset column include Yahoo Picks, AltaVista, Yahoo Bookmarks, Yahoo Buzz, delicious and, of course, MyBlogLog. Under the "Merge" column of the slide, there's Yahoo Events, Yahoo People Search, Sideline and Fire Eagle, a location-based service.

The company plans to more prominently feature several others, some of which are obvious choices. They include Yahoo Alerts, Address Book and Calendar, all of which would have ties the largely popular email service.

Some change to the group were expected, based on an internal memo from CEO Carol Bartz following a round of layoffs that hit the Products Group this week. The Boomtown blog posted the full memo.
