It's not even CES time yet, and we already have some outstanding releases from Samsung: the NX11 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera and the ultra-slim WB700 with 24x zoom function.

The first of its kind from Samsung, the NX11 sports a an 18-55mm i-Function lens, and buyers will be lucky enough to get a 20mm pancake and a 20-50mm zoom silver color i-Function lenses as well.  If you're still wondering about that i-Function business, the hallmark feature on this shooter is the one-touch i-Function button, which automatically activates controls such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO and white balance.

Additional specs on this 14.6-megapixel camera include the APS-C sensor, 3-inch AMOLED LCD screen, VGA viewfinder and 720p HD video recording. This one will roll out in February for $649.

Then we have the super sleek and retro-looking WB700. For a little camera, this one packs in a lot of zoom power. The 16-megapixel compact device hosts a 24mm ultra-wide Schneider Kreuznach lens that supports 18x optical zoom and 1.3x Smart Zoom. There are all the usual preset features you'd find in a high-end point-and-shoot, especially with the Smart Filter 2.0 technology. But Samsung steps up the movie recording quality to full HD 1080p video.

The WB700 will be on shelves in April for $299.99.
