Not all of the Asus news today is good news as it looks like their EeeKeyboard PC, which was supposed to be released in February, has now been pushed back until the spring.

According to Engadget, Asus execs are now saying the EeeKeyboard PC will launch this April while they work on product and user experience details. Those are two very important things, so maybe it was wise to delay the release.

Announced back at CES 2010, what makes this wireless keyboard special is that it features a lot of the same components from a netbook/nettop Atom-based PC. Some of those specs include a 5-inch color multi-touch display (800 x 480 resolution), Windows XP, an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of SSD space. Not bad for just a keyboard.

But it's one pricey keyboard as the EeeKeyboard PC is supposed to start selling at $499 - whenever that might be.
