Following "the day of the iPad 2," AT&T has announced new post-paid wireless data plans that are very flexible and very enticing.

There are two new options, both of which can be tacked on to customers’ existing monthly wireless statements. The starting prices for post-paid are the same as pre-paid, so $14.99 for 250MB or $25 for 2GB. However, the post-paid overage charge for those on the 2GB plan will be $10 per 1GB, compared to $25 for another 2GB.

Best of all, these plans are month-to-month, meaning no long-term commitment required! These options can be picked up online and at AT&T stores nationwide as well as from a number of other tech/mobile retailers starting today.

These sound like great options for travelers who want a 3G-enabled tablet and take advantage of that ability once in a while, but don't want to get locked into an expensive contract. This is also just a nice way to draw in some extra customers (and away from Verizon Wireless) when the iPad 2 launches next Friday. Related coverage on ZDNet:
