Now that Europe has gotten ahold of Samsung's Galaxy S smartphone and Asia to follow later this month, it is obviously time to speculate when it will hit the United States. The latest rumor is that it will pop up with T-Mobile in the US on July 21.

According to the sources of TmoNews, Samsung will launch the Android 2.1-powered Galaxy S at a T-Mobile event next month, which apparently covers another rumor they heard that Samsung is partnering with T-Mobile with some big release this summer.

All of this is potentially true given that the U.S.-geared Galaxy S product page is now live, promo packages have already shipped and arrived in the U.S., and Samsung Mobile is sending out invites to a press event in New York City on June 29. Thus, a July 21 release date seems plausible.

The timing might also be good given that HTC has all the buzz with the Evo 4G and Droid Incredible right now, and the iPhone 4 is surely to be at the forefront of everything after it comes up for pre-order on June 15 and then made available on June 24.

Are you patiently awaiting for the release of the Samsung Galaxy S in the US, or are you ready to move on and buy a different smartphone already?
