Sony PS3 Motion Controller delayed until at least fall 2010

For those of you who had hopes to get your hands on the Sony PlayStation 3 Motion Controller, slated to be released this spring, you're going to have to wait a little longer.

The PS3 Motion Controller (apparently that's only a "tentative" name), is now slated for a global release some time this autumn - and Sony doesn't get any more specific than that. The hold-up is being attributed to the fact Sony wants to release the controllers simultaneously with some big, new PS3 titles scheduled for release then.

Able to work alongside the Dual Shock controllers, the Motion Controller also requires the use of a PlayStation Eye camera.

Did anyone have their hopes and dreams pinned on this one?
