Amazon's Kindle may have recently gotten its price slashed to $114, but that isn't preventing companies from charging much more for the device. But in the case with this 24-carat Gold-plated Kindle 3G, perhaps it's worth it.

The golden e-reader comes via Amosu Coutore, which was known previously for offering gold-plated versions of the iPad, iPhone, and Blackberry. For $1950, opulent ebook readers can show just how well-read and well-off they really are.
