Less than a week after debuting the My Passport AV external HDD, Western Digital already has another new storage device for us. This time it is the My Passport SE for Mac, an ultra-portable USB drive with up to 1 terabyte of storage space.

Catering specifically to Mac owners, this "My Passport" edition comes formatted for Mac computers and ready to sync up a whole lot of data via Apple's Time Machine software.

As far as technical details go, the drives are USB-powered and don't require an external power adapter, making them much more hassle-free to tote around. The portable drives are also encrypted with 256-bit hardware with password protection.

The new Passport drives are available immediately, starting at $179.99 for the 750GB model and $199.99 for the 1TB edition.
