YouTube's movie rentals expand by over 3,000 titles, including The Green Hornet, Inception, The King's Speech

I posted a couple of weeks ago about YouTube's impending deal with movie studios to beef up its video rental service, and the first 3,000 or so titles from that agreement are being made available at youtube.com/movies. New movies will rent for $3.99, while other films will go for $2.99 and some will even be available for free viewing.

New flicks include The Green Hornet, Inception, and Oscar-winner The King's Speech, along with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, Little Fockers, and The Social Network. Movies available for $2.99 range from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Elf to March of the Penguins and Milk. Free titles include Super Size Me and even Ghostbusters.

You'll have 30 days to start watching once you pay for your rental, then you get a 24-hour period to complete viewing. The site hopes to provide a little bit more extra value over an iTunes rental by providing YouTube Movie Extras for some films, which can include behind-the-scenes videos and cast interviews.
