MWC08: Nokia announces Maps 2.0 with pedestrian-focused features

While Nokia made a few device announcements, they also announced a few upgraded and new service offerings. One that I plan to load very soon on my S60 Nseries devices is the upgraded Nokia Maps 2.0. One of the primary features that I personally cannot wait to try out and that I was happy to see is the extended pedestrian navigation functionality. Nokia recognized that there were many people, like myself, who take public transportation and then walk around cities. We now have GPS navigation software that helps us know where we are and how to get to where we want to be. Combined with the very cool magnetic compass features of the future Nokia 6210 Navigator you should never get lost again.
