Europe's largest ISP Demon Internet today welcomed Net surfers to visit its online firework display and virtual bonfire party.

The Web site is the first of several seasonal online celebrations said Demon, and aims to educate and entertain, as well as draw users to the Demon home page.

"We're trying to keep the site exciting and interesting," said Sylvia Spruck Rigley, Demon's online documentation manager who runs the Web site. "We chose Guy Fawkes because it's UK oriented and we're a UK provider. It's also important to make people know about our site. People find out information for themselves and it lessens the load on the sales and support team." Rigley added that there was a larger site planned for Christmas which may include an advent calendar leading up to the day.

Demon can be contacted by telephone on 0181-371 1234.
