Online travel company ebookers started trading on the London Stock Exchange.

Shares are currently trading at 99.5 pence, according to a company spokesman. The company already trades on the Nasdaq and the Neuer Markt in Germany. Last month the pan-European company bucked the downward e-tail trend with its fourth quarter results. Sales were up to £30.1m from £6.7m in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Salomon Brothers International is acting as sponsor for ebookers.
