Iomega trumpets Jaz

Iomega is turning up the heat on its opponents, slicing $100 off its 1Gb Jaz drives in the US. Street prices are expected to be $399 for internal drives and to $499 for external drives. Separately, Iomega is shipping a PCI controller for the Jaz, called the Jaz Jet. The Macintosh/PC controller will street for about $99. Iomega UK couldn't be reached for comment.
