Kaz wins AU$3m healthcare deal

in brief Private hospital operator St John of God Health Care has signed a three-year, AU$3 million deal with Telstra-owned services company KAZ for hosting and business service continuity services.

The Catholic healthcare company employs more than 6,600 staff, and operates 11 hospitals with 1,665 beds in Western Australia and Victoria, along with other facilities, according to a statement by KAZ.

"The contract also involves hosting and managing the group's production facilities in Melbourne and Perth, with the long-term objective of an automatic failover from one site to the other in the event of any major outage," KAZ said.
