Smartfish is now shipping its petite Whirl Mini laser mouse, which the company boasts as the "world’s most comfortable notebook mouse."

Compatible with both PCs and Macs, the Whirl Mini sports an ambidextrous design with the ErgoMotion pivot system for improved comfort.

As for how the Whirl Mini actually operates, the mouse features 800-dpi hi-def laser sensitivity, 2.4MHz wireless connectivity and an "extra long battery life." (Although there's no note on the product page of how long that actually is.) The Whirl Mini totes along a 2.4GHz nano-tranceiver that plugs into a USB port.
