Infonetics Research is out with a new report that says worldwide next generation voice product revenue was $452 million in 3Q 2004. That's an increase of 69% from 3Q 2003.

Here's what you might really want to know. In the $76 million (3Q '04) softswitch space, Nortel is first and Siemens is second.

Cisco leads in worldwide media gateway revenue market share, but Infonetics believes most of their revenue in this area is not for VoIP solutions, butfor Universal Port Remote Access Servers.Sonus Networksis second.
