David Shamah

David Shamah has been writing about Israeli technology news for over a decade, both in print and on the web, and knows the Israeli tech scene and its start-ups inside out.

I have no direct investments in any of the companies I write about. My investments are with mutual funds which may or may not invest in Apple, Google, etc. I believe that one of them has shares in Teva on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, but I don't know the weight, percentage, or time frame. As such I am not a direct investor in any high tech company. I am a former employee of the Jerusalem Post and Maariv (an Israeli paper). I am also a former employee of NMS, a company I believe is now out of business or has been reorganized, if it still exists. NMS bought out a startup I worked at called Shoutmail/Mobilee, also defunct.
