Security slips out of top-5 IT priorities ranking
August’s IT priorities data reveals a reshuffling of the most important projects as reported by IT pros. Security dropped from the fourth position down to six, opening the door for the first time for both Web technology and IT management to secure spots in the top-5 list.
ERP top software priority among readers, says ZDNet study
ERP is the key software initiative organizations are now focused on according to the latest IT Priorities data. The software category as a whole jumped last month from the number four top IT priority to number two, stopping short of VoIP which remained untouched as the dominant topic on the minds of IT decision makers.
