One of the cooler bits of software included with the Classmate PC is ArtRage Pro. It's an incredibly intuitive, full-featured art program for teachers that supports Photoshop layers, a variety of drawing tools, easy application on interactive whiteboards, and really makes the user (of any age) feel like he or she is working with a realistic set of media.
My youngest son has been out of school for 5 days now (with a weekend thrown in there for good measure). He's finally feeling better, but still needs Motrin to keep his fever down, Benadryl to fight the cough, and he has 5 more days to go on a course of antibiotics.
It's not the typing that's the problem - It's the lack of effort.
I finally got our Mimio boards working this week and I have to admit they are far more useful than I expected. They had about as much appeal to me as tablet PCs used to, and, frankly, I bought them because the state told us we needed to be using them, not because I thought they had too much value.
