With the IE9 Release Candidate, Microsoft has taken the wraps off a powerful new privacy-protection tool. Using the Tracking Protection feature, any IE9 user can install a list of sites and substrings that it wants to block. The effect is to block third-party tracking cookies, web beacons, analytics scripts, and even ads.
