The Pebble e-paper watch was one of the most successful Kickstarter projects of 2012 and the big news today is that backers will soon see the watch on their own wrist.

There's a lot to be excited about in T-Mobile's announcements -- including an LTE rollout and Major League Baseball deal. My patience with their data network over the past decade is going to pay off soon.
James, Kevin, and I recently returned from CES 2010 in Vegas and kicked off MobileTechRoundup show #194 talking about some of our impressions of the show. I was quite pleased with CES this year, even though there wasn't a ton of mobile phone news and stayed very busy. We all agreed that the Lenovo U1 hybrid stood out and caught our attention. Kevin and I both purchased a Google Nexus One while in Vegas and are overall quite happy with the device. We are also both rocking along with a Nokia N900 and the beta Ovi Store launch just took place after our CES return.
The three co-hosts of the podcast are either in or headed to Vegas for CES so in MobileTechRoundup show #85 you will hear James, Kevin, and myself give our listeners a bit of each of our history. Some people like to know more about the people they listen to and we promise to go back to lots of talk about mobile devices since tons of news should be pouring out of CES this week. We will try to record a show live in Vegas so stay tuned for that as well.
CES 2007 will be covered by mainstream press, bloggers, and the casual attendee this year as people hit the show floor with video cameras, cameraphones, microphones. With something like 140,000+ people hitting the streets of Vegas this week stay tuned for instant coverage and an information overload.
Geeks generally like to stay up late and to record this latest show from London I started recording at 1 am local time. The MobileTechRoundup gang chatted about Tablet PCs, UMPCs, new OQO device and more. Travel can be made easier with mobile video and mobile Skype too. Listen to the show and enjoy the usual banter from Kevin, James, and Matt.
