He has also worked for Bloomberg and SmartMoney, and for the prestigious ComputerLetter newsletter covering venture capital investments in tech. His work has been published in the New York Times, Fortune magazine, and CNN Money. He is a graduate of Princeton University and a native of New York City.

Tiernan Ray has no direct investments in any securities whatsoever. His only investments are a 401K plan managed by Fidelity that is invested in a variety of broad security classes across different funds.
