Solar USB charger

This handy little doodad is a battery that draws its charge from solar energy. From there, it recharges any of your USB-chargable devices: cell phones, tablets, etc. Perfect for individuals in need of a spare charge from time to time.// Source

"What's for Lunch?" decision spinner

"So, what's for lunch today?" "Oh, I don't care. Whatever you want!" "Man, I'm good for anything, really. You pick." "So am I! Seriously, you pick." "If you don't pick something to eat RIGHT NOW, I swear I'm going to..." *Cue the "What's for Lunch?" decision spinner!* "Tacos it is. Sweet!" (30 minutes later...) *Om nom nom* // Source

Desktop punching ball

Look at all that stress pent up inside of you. *Tsk, tsk* Such a shame. It's unhealthy, you know, all that stress. Solution? Desktop punching ball. Basically, you form a fist, then you use momentum to CRUSH IT up against that ball. Ahhh... all better now! // Source

Silent mouse

Apparently, creating a mouse with no clicking sound has proven to be quite a challenge... until now. Never again will your boss hear you frantically minimizing a gazillion windows as they try to make it from your door/cube entrance to your monitor as fast as they can. You'll be all stealth, now! // Source

Newton's cradle: awesomeness edition

This product isn't actually called "awesomeness edition;" I'm naming it that, because, well, it's an awesome take on a classic desktop toy that never gets old. Everyone's seen one, but few are the people who will ever see this one! Be the one that shows it to them... // Source

The BS button

How many times has your boss given you a totally meaningless task and, when they left, you quite audibly noted, "THIS IS SOME BULLLLLL$#*&"? Well, now, you can have a button to declare that very sentiment for you! And it's a little more fun this way, too, thanks to the bit of physicality involved with smacking the button. Combine this with the desktop punching ball to level-up and gain +1 frustration relief. // Source

Treadmill desk

You take a treadmill, you take a desk, you smoosh 'em together, then, BOOM: you have a treadmill desk. It's self-explanatory, really. And if you've seen all the studies lately talking about how sitting around all day is slowly sapping away precious years from your total lifespan, then you may well want to consider owning one! // BOOM!

Melting clock

Do you ever feel like your lifeforce is being slowly melted away as you slave for hours on end at work, day after day? If so, then this is the perfect clock for you to point at when your boss walks into your office/cube one day. Just look at them, point at the clock and say, "YOU! Yooooou..." It might not earn you that end-of-year raise you were hoping for, but at least your boss is now clear about how you feel walking into work every day, right? // Source

Digital smartpen

This is one of the most awesome gadgets I've seen for people who find themselves writing a lot; especially in the context of writing during a meeting or presentation. You can not only record audio, but the pen will convert your writing to digital format so you can load it on a computer. Then, when you want to go to a certain point in your recorded conversation, you simply select one of the words from your notes and you'll be linked up with that exact spot in your conversation. Pretty handy! (No pun intended.) // Source

Cable clips

For all you neat-freaks out there (like me), here's a great way to place your myriad of device cables wherever you'd like them to rest. Bye-bye, cable-induced neurosis! // Source

Floppy disk sticky notes

Well, they sure won't store anything close to 1.44 MB worth of information, but, hey... at least you can still write on both sides of them! *Bazinga!* // Source

App magnets

It seems like everything is getting app-ified these days: phones, televisions, vehicles, and... magnets! Just one more thing to remind you that Apple's pretty close to achieving world domination. // Source

Mobile desk

If the treadmill desk is a bit too much "going nowhere really fast" for you, then maybe the mobile desk is a bit more up your alley. It's especially perfect for annoying coworkers who constantly have something on their monitor that they want everyone to see. Now, they'll have to go to YOU! Then again, maybe that's not such a great thing after all. Either way, if this suits you and you had no idea such a thing existed, then you can show your thanks by sharing this gallery with everyone you know and telling them how cool of a site ZDNet is! Deal? Deal. // Source

Monitor rear-view mirror

Tired of your coworkers turning around and judging you for the very same thing they also do: browsing the Web, etc.? And what about those extra-special coworkers who take it one step farther and throw you under the bus behind your back, to your boss? Yeah, I've worked with those types of people before. Do yourself a favor and pop one or two of these puppies on your monitor. You'll be glad you did. // Source

Self-stirring mug

No spoon? No problem! The self-stirring mug has you covered. But if you're of the type who is always spoon-ready, then at least you can watch your drink turn into a whirlpool as you try to stick your finger in as far as you can without touching the swirling brew. Because who WOULDN'T want to do that!? // Source

Perpetual calendar

If you like physical calendars that are sure to draw attention, then stop spending your money buying the cute kitten calendars year-after-year and start considering this masterpiece: an elegantly-designed calendar that's filled with magic (see: magnets and metal). One of these would compliment a Newton's cradle quite nicely, no? // Source

Floppy disk USB drive

So, the floppy disk sticky notes are pretty cool, but this USB drive really takes the cake for floppy disk awesomeness, I think. A great modern take on a classic. // Source

20-usb-mail-notifier.jpg

USB mail notifier

This is an awesome little gadget that you can link to your email and messaging clients so that you'll know when you have a new email or message without having to bring them up. This type of gadget would be perfect for those of you with single-monitor configurations who need to frequently monitor your email. // Source

21-privacy-filter.jpg

Privacy filter

I couldn't go making this gallery without mentioning privacy filters. I'm often amazed by how few people know about these. They're absolutely perfect for foiling the plans of nosey coworkers who try to come around and see what you're doing -- that, or if you're trying to get some work done on some sort of public transportation. Between one of these and a couple of those monitor rear-view mirrors, you'll be gold-ish. // Source

Bonus 1: Air purifier spy cam

Speaking of privacy filters, a good friend of mine recently had his stolen from his desktop at work. Solution? A secret squirrel spy cam, of course. This rather pricy model is an air purifier that doubles as a spy cam with all sorts of value-added functionality, such as the ability to connect to it remotely so you can see what's going on in real-time. This would also be great for busting anyone who tries to steal any of your awesome office gadgetry! Sure, you could buy most of the things on this list multiple times over before justifying the cost of this spy cam, but being able to actually bust someone would make the purchase totally worth it. // Source

Bonus 2: Wireless key-finder

Do you lose track of your keys often? Even if it's only happened to you a couple of times, there's not much worse than running late for work and not being able to track your keys down. Thankfully, people make things like this: a wireless doohickey that lets you quickly track down whatever you have it attached to (keys, badge, phone, wallet, ferret, etc.). Simple solution. // Source
