Dave Wasley of online auction site trademe.co.nz told of how his company serves 6 million pages an hour with only one network specialist and one storage specialist.

The conference was equipped with a "cyber cafe" and free Wi-Fi access that let delegates get online.

One-to-one meetings were scheduled so that delegates could meet with vendors at the conference.
