iVerify: Added security for iPhone and iPad users
I'm usually wary of security apps, but iVerify by Trail of Bits is different. It comes highly recommended and offers a lot of features in a small download. ...
iOS 10 gives iPhone and iPad users the ability to delete built-in apps such as Mail, FaceTime, and Music and replace them with third-party apps. But which apps should you choose? Deleting a built-in app is the same as deleting any other app, just press and hold on the icon on the Home screen until they jiggle, and then tap the X. Press the Home button when you're done. There are a lot of alternatives that spring to mind (such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, etc.), and which you choose really depends on what you family, friends, and work colleagues' use. But if I'm going to replace Messages with anything, I'd go for Signal, because if it's good enough for Edward Snowden, it's good enough for me.
