Outlet for aggression, at Black Hat 2015

To attract attendees, this company provided an outlet for those with hardware anger management issues to manage their impulses -- a plexiglass room with stuff to smash, baseball bats, an axe, and safety gear. (It's a loud gimmick.)

Black Hat USA 2015

Considering that the Center for Strategic and International Studies estimates the annual cost to the global economy from cybercrime to be around $400 billion, it's a good sign that Black Hat USA's 2015 attendance is off the charts with motivated attendees. With such a positive vibe and friendly attendees, by the end of the day it starts to feel like hope -- even if our feet are killing us.
