CES gallery: Toyota rides with voice-activated entertainment
At the Consumer Electronics Show, Toyota is unveiliing its Entune voice-activated entertainment, navigation, and information system for "select" Toyota models later this year. Entune provides mobile apps for services such as navigation, shopping and real-time information in addition to many music options. Larry Dignan has more information in his blog.
Toyota's Entune will use Bing to allow drivers to ask for information and maps for navigation.
As with other apps, you can use Bing by using the in-system keypad or voice activation.
On iheartradio.com, drivers should be able to find a radio station to their liking.
An app for Opentable.com lets you look up places to eat.
Pandora helps drivers expand their music library.
Entune will download apps, updates and files directly from your cell phone.
