Facebook gives local flavor to Singapore office

  • Facebook opened the doors of its Singapore office to the local press on Tuesday. The social networking company first set up shop here in 2010 .

    The Singapore office is Facebook's regional headquarters and houses the sales and marketing team as well as business development unit.

    The office occupies two floors over an area of 21,000 square feet.

  • The names of the different conference rooms which mix East and West popular culture are given by employees. This room is named "I'll be bak choy" with bak choy meaning Chinese cabbage. Other names include "Shaken not stirfried", "Goa head make my day" and "I'm a Seoul man".
