As usual, the event was held at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre.
There seemed to be a good turnout.
On Tuesday evening Gartner held welcome drinks, with people able to have a wine or two.
If people weren't talking to those manning the stands, they were networking among themselves.
Telstra's stand wasn't heavily frequented when we were there.
Next to the Gartner show floor, there was a lounge for delegate use.
The convention floor was divided into different "industry vertices".
Some of the presentations were held in a room closely resembling a goldfish bowl.
It's good to see that not everyone was rushing to the partitions set out for internet use.
The orange circular tables held "real-time research terminals" where people could find Gartner papers for free to read more about topics of interest.
