General Imaging CES 2011 digital cameras and camcorders line-up

General Imaging brought a large new line of compact digital cameras and camcorders to CES 2011, ranging from rugged and waterproof to 16-megapixel shooters capable of recording full HD video.

GE Smart Series: The 14-megapixel A1456W sports a 28mm wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom, High Dynamic Range and panorama support. Other advanced features include image stabilization, smile/face/blink detection, auto scene detection, and a 2.7-inch LCD panel. Outfitted in black, silver and red, the GE A1456W will retail for $89.99 when it is released in March.

The 14-megapixel compact cam also captures 720p HD video, sports a 3.0-inch display and boasts 7x optical zoom and pan-capture panorama. The best part is the low MSRP set at $119.99. The GE J1470S will ship in March in black, silver and red.

The DV1 is already available for purchase now for $129.99 in five vibrant hues: lime green, aqua blue, citrus orange, red velvet and graphite gray.
