  • It's not Excel, but it integrates with forms automatically that can be published online from within Apps. Mighty useful for quickly collecting data online.

  • Entire folders can be shared with other users; be careful, though, since sharing happens at the folder level by default.

  • Sharing and permissions just seem a bit more seemless with Google Apps; fewer clicks, less confusion, and less ability to accidentally share all of your documents with coworkers. On the other hand, sharing multiple documents is a bit tougher.

  • Access to the main functions within Apps for users is via a simple toolbar with all of your documents arranged below, Gmail-style. (I've excluded the document window since I have several documents shared with other users whose names and emails are displayed on the list).

  • The "chalkboard" theme - Google Presentations, in my opinion, is probably the most useful of the Google Apps. It looks slick and other users can easily follow along and interact.
