Hands-on with the Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Sprint rolled out the new HTC EVO 4G LTE, after delays caused by an Apple lawsuit, and it is a fine device for the Sprint network. Without LTE in place though, the data speeds are tough to swallow when you have LTE devices on other networks.

You don't get much in the box these days, just the essentials.

The EVO 4G LTE is shown between two HTC One X devices.

Here you can see the major differences in the back design of these two HTC devices.

The upper portion is very glossy black and attracts fingerprints and smudges.

Here you can see the kickstand being raised from the back.

The strong kickstand supports the EVO 4G LTE in both landscape orientations.

Here you can see the kickstand lies flat, yet still supports the EVO 4G LTE.

The EVO 4G LTE is not a small device, but still feels fine in the hand.

A physical camera capture button is present, but it won't unlock into the camera app when the display is off.

The volume button is positioned in way of the glossy black back.

A microUSB port is on the left and is used for charging and PC connections.
