  • While the Spectre One is not a touchscreen system, the Envy 20 is, featuring a 20-inch multitouch HD screen.

This is the smallest footprint 'All-in-one' PC in HP's new Envy range, and is ideal for those looking for a system to fit into a smaller or more restricted desktop space.

The display is a 'flush glass' design, and as such there's no bezel for the finger to catch on at the edges of the screen.

If you like the look of the Envy 20, but want a system with a larger screen, then you should take a look at the Envy 23 which has a 23-inch display.

  • The Envy 20 will be powered by a range of Intel third-generated Core processors based on Ivy Bridge architecture, which means that there's no compromise in terms of performance.

However, unlike the Spectre One, the Envy 20 features more plastic in the design, rather than the aluminum of the high-end model.

  • Despite the small footprint, the Envy 20 supports up to 3TB of storage, so HP haven't compromised on disk space in order to make the system thin.

The system also features a range of HP services, including HP Connected Remote, Photo, Music, and Backup.

  • While the Spectre One is not a touchscreen system, the Envy 23 is, featuring a 23-inch multitouch HD screen.

The Envy 23 is the bigger brother of the Envy 20, offering more screen real estate to show off the Windows 8 operating system. It is aimed at those with more desk space to spare and a bigger budget.

The display is a 'flush glass' design, and as such there's no bezel for the finger to catch on when swiping the screen.

  • The Envy 23 will be powered by third-generation Intel Core processors based on Ivy Bridge technology. This means that there's no compromise in terms of performance, either in terms of styling or performance.

However, one compromise that HP has made with the Envy series compared to the Spectre One is that the cool brushed aluminum has been replaced with cheaper plastic.

If you want style, it's going to cost you.
