Microsoft has been developing AdCenter, a tool designed to serve up ads customized for users, to boost online ad sales.

Microsoft says that when it comes to search ads, it's important to know who is doing the searching. That appears to be evidenced by the Google page for "bleach," which shows most of the searches related to Bleach, the Japanese animation, while most of the ad results are related to bleach, the cleaning product.
