Image Gallery: Dashwire mobile device mirror service
Dashwire is a new Web 2.0 service that mirrors your mobile phone to the Web for easier management and interaction with your mobile phone. You can send text messages, manage photos and videos, add contacts, add bookmarks, and more right from your desktop PC and have the content synced with your mobile phone.
You can sign up for Dashwire or take the tour to find out what it is all about.
Signing up is quick and easy. You will see a text message appear with a link to download the Windows Mobile client after your account access has been granted.
The first status indicates that your device is syncing with the server.
The next status states that content is synced and then the client runs in the background waiting for new content.
There are not many options in the current mobile client as you can see in this menu.
You manage your Dashwire account on the web interface. This shot shows management of my public page.
You can share your content with friends and the public using your Dashwire public page.
This type of pop-up screen appears when you click on a photo thumbnail. You can manage your photos from this display.
It is easy to enter text using your keyboard. I'll soon be Twittering from my desktop using the SMS client.
You can enter bookmarks/IE Favorites quickly and have them mirrored right on your mobile device.
You can easily edit and fill out details for your contacts from your PC keyboard. You can email and text message them right from this display too.
You can view and manage your calls with Dashwire.
