imeem is a social network that enables users to discover, interact and express themselves with media, including music, video and photos, and form connections based on shared tastes and interests. One of the main functions of imeem is the ability to stream shared music and now you can enjoy virtually unlimited streaming content on your Apple iPhone with imeem Mobile.

You can login to your account or create a new account with imeem right from the device.

There is a simple form to fill out to get yourself an imeem account.

A username and password are all that is needed to login to imeem.

imeem provides you with a few options for jumping right in and listening to content.

Select one of the available stations to start listening to streaming content.

The now playing screen has cover art at the center with lots of other information and controls available. You can choose to like or dislike the song, play/pause it, and skip forward (up to 6 times per station). Volume controls and download cache status is also shown. Tapping the "i" icon takes you to a screen with details on the musician.

Tapping the center menu button brings up the following options, including the ability to buy the song on iTunes.

I found this type of information to be quite interesting and was pleased to see this capability in the application.

imeem lets you upload 100 of your own non-DRM songs to your account on their server and then stream this content to your imeem account.

When you select Favorites you will see your favorite artists and songs up top with some of your favorite stations below. Tapping any of these will launch the station and start playing music.

Selecting Buy Song on iTunes pops you into a search results page on iTunes.

You can skip up to 6 times when listening to a station in imeem.

You can search for music and create custom stations in imeem.

Results filter as you start to search the database.

You can select to share a song and then enter an email address to send the information to a friend.
