The HTC DROID Incredible is getting quite a few people excited about the next Google Android device on Verizon Wireless and in this image gallery we present a much closer look at functions and applications. Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync is supported quite well and we present screenshots of this, along with the text input options, document viewer, Skype Mobile, and NFL Mobile. Similar to how Gmail presents email, you can view your email in a conversation mode.
This screenshot shows an expanded conversation.
If you have contacts that you regularly communicate with then you may want to add them to the VIP group.
Unread email appears here and after reading it the email automatically moves off of this screen.
Your flagged/marked email appears in this view for easy management.
This handy view presents you with any pending meeting invites you may not have responded to.

There are several settings available for you to manage your email.
The options shown here appear when you press the Menu button on the Incredible.
As you can see there are 10 different ways you can sort your Inbox.
Don't forget that you can tap and hold in various areas to access even more options and functions.
These are the options after pressing the More... icon on the menu.
While only one Exchange account is supported, you can setup multiple POP and IMAP email accounts and toggle through them.
The last tab on the right presents you with all of your emails with attachments.
You can tap on the attachment icon to download the attachment to your storage areas and then open the attachment to check out in the viewers.

There are various ways to select an email recipient in email.
Various attachment types are supported in the email client.
Various general email settings are available for you to customize your experience.
I find the Agenda view to be one of the most helpful. Notice the color coding for different calendar sources.

Launching the Contacts (aka People) application on the DROID Incredible.
Groups are supported in the People application.
Pressing the menu button opens up this pop-up display.
Various fields exist for creating a new contact.
There are several fields for entering data associated with your new contact.
If you cannot find someone in your contacts, then try one of your online service directories.

Quickoffice is provided as the default document viewer on the HTC Incredible.
You can toggle between two different views and this shows the normal view.
These are the two available options for viewing your documents.
Landscape orientation is also supported in the document viewer and spreadsheets look much better this way.
You can view all the sheets of your document using Quickoffice.
Various zoom options exist in Quickoffice.
A PDF viewer is included as a separate application, but also integrated into the email program for easy viewing.
PowerPoint documents can be viewed on the DROID Incredible.
Pressing the menu button opens up these options.
You can search through your documents and PDF files.
The default view reformats the document for easier viewing.

The keyboard works in landscape and portrait orientations and is the same in either mode.
There are two keyboards for numbers and characters and this is the first one.
If you tap the 1/2 key a second time then this keyboard appears.
Predictive text and spelling options are available.
You can tap the arrow to view all the words the software is considering as you enter text.
The keys are a bit tighter together in portrait orientation. I can actually enter text fast with a single finger in this mode.
This is the first numbers/characters keyboard in portrait.

If you enter a word not found you can add it to your dictionary. The word turns orange if it is not found and new to the device.

There are settings for the touch input options too.
The NFL Mobile app is currently focused on the NFL draft.
Pressing the menu button gives you these options.
The screen you see when you tap the NFL Network icon.
Lots of data and stats are available to the NFL fan.
You should select your favorite team and can then view news and draft info.
You can view videos and check out more about your team in NFL Mobile.
There are not many settings available, but you can manage alerts and view the help file.

This is the main view when you first launch Skype Mobile.
These options appear when you press the menu button in the main Skype Mobile view.
Pressing More... gives you these other options.

All Skype to Skype calls are routed through call centers for Verizon. The good thing is the calls are free to Verizon customers even though they are carried over the voice network.
Tapping on a contact gives you these options to communicate with them.
Events are the conversations you are having with contacts during the session.

You can also call mobile phones and landlines, but this will cost you money through your Skype Credit.
Pressing the menu button in the Skype Out section presents this pop-up.
