Images: Microsoft makes blogging easy
WYSIWYG
Microsoft uses WYSIWYG to describe its Windows Live Writer beta blogging tool. Microsoft says the image on your screen will look exactly like the published version.
Photo editing
Windows Live Writer tries to take the mystery out of photo editing. You can insert a photo by cutting and pasting or using "Insert Picture" dialogue. After it appears in the blog, you can adjust the dimensions or apply special effects.
Maps
You can add maps to your blogs in much the same way as photos. Plus, you can change the view or add pushpins to highlight your map.
Writer SDK
The Windows Live Writer SDK lets you add embedded audio or video players, images from online photo publishing sites and links from e-commerce sites.
Compatibility
Windows Live Writer will work with services such as Windows Live Spaces, Blogger, LiveJournal and more.
