Kirtas scanner

Kirtas Technologies has agreed to scan books for Microsoft's Windows Live Book Search.

The Kirtas APT Book Scan 2400 Gold robotic scanner can read 2,400 pages an hour, the company said, and its robot's book handling is "gentler that the human hand."
