Leisure machine
A British designer has created the ultimate in home entertainment--a $45,000 leisure machine. The Oculas has a DVD screen, video game center, music center with surround-sound speakers, and a computer that allows you to surf the Net--all cased in a stylish white pod. Optional extras include a massage chair with a virtual meditation coach and production suite that allows you to make your own films.
The pod, which was featured in the movie "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy," is made from fiberglass, weighs 143 pounds and will go on sale in the U.S. later this year. Rapper The Game reportedly couldn't wait for the Oculas to go on sale and plopped down $100,000 for a customized version.
